Position Information: Hourly position, responsible for maintaining order and providing security in CVES buildings and on CVES property. With appropriate licensure, training, and CVES approval, position will be an armed guard. The focus is on prevention and early intervention through establishing a rapport with students while working collaboratively with administration and staff. Position will follow the school calendar, 6 weeks of summer school, and after school events. Typical schedule will be 8am to 3pm. For 2025-2026 school year, seeking candidate to ensure daily coverage by a school security guard.

Salary: $26 Hourly

Position Details: Weekly review of all CVES, CEWW Health Insurance Consortium, and Workers’ Compensation Consortium outgoing cash disbursements. This position is an annual appointment of the CVES Board to fulfill their claims audit function. Audits are done weekly and typically on Wednesday each week with potential for carryover to Thursday. Periodically, Claims Auditor is called for on-demand checks. The claims auditor submits a report to the CVES Board monthly and meets with the audit committee one time per year. Training is planned with our current Claims Auditor and the Deputy Claims Auditor. The ideal time for our weekly Wednesday claims audit is during the workday between 8am and 4pm.
