Minimum Starting Salary: $23,250 plus longevity payments and potential for $5,000 health insurance buyout. Longevity Payments: $500 payment after 100 days worked, $750 after 200 days worked, $750 after 400 days worked (Paid in lump sum and added to base salary.)  Starting salary increases based on experience.

Location: Special Education, Plattsburgh and Mineville Campuses

Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026

Position Information: Multiple Positions, Full time/10-month per year position, follows school calendar                                                  

Paid Time off: School holidays off, snow days off, 10 sick days, 5 personal leave days, and 3 bereavement days per occurrence  

Retirement System: New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS)

Health Insurance: 12% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 88% of premium.

  • CEWW health insurance consortium is the same as 15 local school districts.
  • $5,000 per year health insurance buyout available

  • Vision, Dental, & Life insurance through Guardian
  •  403 (b) & deferred comp 457 plans available
  • 125 plan for unreimbursed medical & dependent care (flex plan)
